All FAQs
Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?
Shandong Hongyue Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. is a geosynthetic manufacturer in Dezhou, Shandong - one of China's main geosynthetic production clusters. We run blown-film, lamination, nonwoven, geonet and GCL lines and supply directly with test reports and certificates.
What is the manufacturer hotline?
Sales hotline +86 181 6202 5999 (Mr. Wang, WhatsApp available), email 498840623@qq.com. Please state application, product class, specification, quantity and delivery address for a one-shot accurate reply.
Which standard does the geomembrane follow?
Current standard is GB/T 17643-2025 (implemented 2025-11-01, replacing the 2011 edition). Composite geomembrane follows GB/T 17642-2025; filament geotextile GB/T 17639-2023; staple geotextile GB/T 17638-2017. GRI-GM13 property sheets are available on request for overseas projects.
How is the price determined?
There is no fixed price list. Price depends on resin grade (virgin vs recycled), standard level, thickness or weight, composite structure, order quantity, customization, distance and delivery terms, and testing/documentation services. Resin and fiber prices fluctuate and pass directly into ex-works price, so we quote per specification + quantity + destination + invoice requirement.
Do you keep stock and how fast is delivery?
Common thicknesses and weights are in stock; urgent orders load the same day. Non-standard widths, special thickness/weight, special structures or formulations are scheduled separately, typically within 7 days. Road transport covers all China; export orders load FCL from Qingdao or Tianjin port.
What technical support do you provide?
Material and thickness recommendation by application and medium; laying plan, overlap and anchoring details with welding parameter ranges; layout assistance from site drawings to cut welds and waste; crew briefing; on-site first-weld guidance for major works; incoming inspection documents and weld-test cooperation; leakage troubleshooting advice during operation.
What thickness for each application?
By risk class: MSW landfill base and slopes >=1.5 mm (2.0 mm for strict cases or high heads), capping 0.75 mm; tailings ponds 1.5-2.5 mm; biogas lagoon base and cover 1.0-1.5 mm; wastewater ponds 1.5-2.0 mm; tank farms 1.5-2.5 mm; reservoirs 0.75-1.5 mm; aquaculture ponds 0.5-1.0 mm. Thickness follows the design document; OIT and stress-cracking resistance matter as much as thickness.
Do you support customization?
Yes: non-standard width, special thickness and weight, composite structures (one/two-cloth-one-membrane with chosen weights), filament or staple base, textured surfaces (single/double, texture height), printing and marking, special formulations (high carbon black, UV-enhanced, chemical-resistant), slitting and roll length. Confirm line feasibility, MOQ and lead time in advance.
Difference between geotextile and geomembrane?
Geomembrane is impermeable and blocks liquid migration - it is the liner. Geotextile is permeable and provides filtration, drainage, separation, reinforcement and protection - it cushions and protects the membrane. They are usually combined: geotextile under and over the membrane.
Smooth or textured membrane?
Smooth membrane for flat bases where water pressure dominates - lower cost and easier welding. Textured for slopes and where soil cover or geotextile interface shear matters: single-textured for one-sided shear, double-textured for steep slopes and landfill side slopes.
